lovely wine. warm and slightly sweet. not over strong. my ideal red.
Janine
Sharp, acidic, too much alcohol 'taste', not enough fruit. Not at all sweet! Not easy-drinking at all. DIdn't like it with pasta. Left it overnight and tried with lamb. Even worse. Yuck
Heather

The Wine Maker Says...

Name: Ruben Perez Cuevas
Vineyard: Bodegas Artesa
Country: Spain

We are a family-owned Rioja Bodega producing wines both from our own 200 hectare vineyards and from neighbouring growers. The poor, rocky terrain and high altitude of our vineyards gives grapes with excellent colour and intensity of fruit. These grapes are perfectly suited to the production of fresh, fruity, unoaked Tintos and Rosados.

A youthful, fruity red with a deep ruby colour and ripe, red berry aromas. Soft, easy-drinking style with ripe plum and cherry fruit on the palate. Nice spice and a bit of grip to make it indicative of Rioja.
